Vice President of Innovation

Requirements and Responsibilities
Develops the vision, strategy, and thinking methodologies used to innovate new products and services, introduce novel or disruptive ideas, improve existing processes, and create a culture of innovation within the company. Articulates an innovation strategy and defines objectives and measures aligned with overall company goals that add value to stakeholders. Champions innovation projects and oversees resources and budgets. Seeks out new opportunities with partners or alliances that support innovation efforts. Collaborates with internal teams and promotes a culture of innovation that encourages and supports experimentation and rewards new ideas and ways of thinking. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
