Shop Service Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Oversees the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including engines, hydraulics, and transmissions. Leads service technicians in removing, disassembling, replacing, cleaning, and/or reassembling components. Helps service technicians diagnose issues and select the proper tools and protocols for assignments. Maintains inventory of replacement parts, tools, and equipment required for operations. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
