Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides insights and recommendations to optimize new product introductions, distribution, shelving, price, and promotional mix by analyzing marketing and customer data. Responsible for driving category growth within the categories assigned, optimizing product assortment, ensuring competitive pricing, and creating marketing initiatives to promote category sales and customer engagement. Analyzes and assesses category/brand performance to develop enhanced marketing and sales plans and promotions. Conducts market-specific assessments of competitors, vendors, and customers to support decisions and influence management. Monitors competitor pricing and adjusts strategies accordingly. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
