Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides insights and recommendations to optimize new product introductions, distribution, shelving, price, and promotional mix by analyzing marketing and customer data. Responsible for driving category growth within the categories assigned, optimizing product assortment, ensuring competitive pricing, and creating marketing initiatives to promote category sales and customer engagement. Analyzes and assesses category/brand performance to develop enhanced marketing and sales plans and promotions. Conducts market-specific assessments of competitors, vendors, and customers to support decisions and influence management. Monitors competitor pricing and adjusts strategies accordingly. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
