Business Development Director

Requirements and Responsibilities
Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall policies and goals for a business development department. Develops and maintains client relationships. Identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management. Ensures business growth strategies are met. Requires a bachelor's degree of Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
