Requirements and Responsibilities
Monitors premises to reduce losses due to theft and fraud. Enforces security measures and procedures. Observes areas that are vulnerable to theft and identifies occurrences. Ensures employees understand and follow policies and procedures for loss prevention and cash handling. Collects, records, and maintains loss and incident data in appropriate format and system. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
