Network Control Technician I
Also referred to as: Entry Level Network Control Technician, Network Control Technician I
Requirements and Responsibilities
Monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability. Identifies and troubleshoots network issues and follows procedures to resolve problems. Documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
