Laboratory Support Technician I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides technical support for laboratory operations. Assembles, configures, and maintains equipment for use in tests and experiments. Operates equipment, mixes chemical solutions, and performs analytical tests as assigned. Records test results and maintains records as instructed. Complies with all safety guidelines. May require an associate degree in a related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
