Laboratory Quality Control Technician I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Performs various quality assurance tests to ensure consistent and reliable operations in a laboratory setting. Conducts functional tests and measurements to confirm equipment specifications and working order. Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance. Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
