CAD Support Technician I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides computer-aided design (CAD) support. Creates preliminary drafting files from notes or sketches, assists engineers and designers with the completion of drawings, and executes basic CAD file modification. Communicates with engineers and designers to aid in the completion of projects. Helps transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Maintains deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
