| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Prepares raw ingredients for use in recipes. Washes, chops, stores, and handles ingredients. Prepares portions of ingredients for workstations. May prepare sauces and garnishes or assist cook with basic recipes. Follows all applicable guidelines and regulations for food handling and safety. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. |
