Requirements and Responsibilities |
Plans and oversees an organization's marketing objectives, strategies, programs, and policies. Translates the overall marketing vision into integrated business plans, tactics, and deliverables. Assists with developing marketing goals, budgets, and strategies and ensures alignment with greater business goals. Provides budgetary oversight and controls to marketing initiatives and delegates resources and teams to execute short-term and long-term marketing plans. Plans and directs critical marketing functions, including market research, communications, and product planning. Evaluates and improves operational processes and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
