Trade Marketing Manager

Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages marketing efforts and programs to support distributors, wholesalers, and retailers market and sell an organization's products. Develops sales promotions and ensures resources, materials, and displays align with the initiative's strategic message. Implements processes and procedures to educate and train partners about product uses and benefits and ensure effective communication with end-users. Collaborates with partners to ensure products are available, well-promoted, and properly displayed to increase brand awareness and sales opportunities. Reviews sales, orders, and various demand metrics to evaluate trade marketing efforts and allocate resources to profitable channels. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
