| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Develops, prepares, and maintains functional, configuration, and user interface documentation for computer software and hardware products. Produces foundational manuals, release notes, user documentation, and online instructional content. Documents enhancements or changes to a product or process using a standardized style and structure. Researches, reviews, and collects all related technical information to be reflected in the documentation. Uses a variety of editing, content management, diagramming, screen capture, and other documentation tools. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience. |
