Requirements and Responsibilities
Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. May supervise and guide work of lower level mail clerks. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Mailroom Supervisor. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
