Requirements and Responsibilities |
Manages an organization's real estate operations and activities to facilitate the buying, selling, or leasing of properties. Develops processes and policies to drive location planning, building or land acquisition, leasing, and disposition. Coordinates construction, repairs, or maintenance of facilities including managing contractors, expenses, and scheduling. Assists with due diligence and new real estate purchases, managing lease activities, and overseeing disposition plans. Ensures transaction paperwork and documentation are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards and requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
