Meeting/Event Planner I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Plans and organizes live and virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve financial, operational, and outreach objectives. Gathers meeting or event requirements and researches and recommends adequate channels or venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budgets and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
