Mechanic Technician III

Requirements and Responsibilities
Maintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Performs skilled repair services of mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment. Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair. Identifies parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary. Completes all work in accordance with established safety procedures. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
