Requirements and Responsibilities |
Plans and designs manufacturing processes for a production facility. Analyzes assembly, fabrication, machining, and other processes. Maximizes efficiency by optimization of layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines the parts, equipment, tools, and processes needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. May conduct time and cost analysis of processes. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. |
