Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

Requirements and Responsibilities
Utilizes advanced or innovative technologies to optimize and improve manufacturing processes for a production facility. Utilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to design and develop manufacturing parts or components and communicate specifications to stakeholders. Researches and evaluates new materials, equipment, or technologies to facilitate complex manufacturing designs and specifications. Analyzes production operations and implements new technologies such as robotics or automation to reduce costs and improve overall efficiency. Creates and maintains standard documentation for manufacturing products and processes to ensure procedures are well-documented and accessible for future needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
