Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages the research and analysis of financial markets, securities, and investment products to assess risks, evaluate potential returns, and make informed investment decisions for an organization. Implements policies and procedures to guide the analysis and evaluation of investment products and ensure investment activities comply with regulatory standards. Reviews economic data, financial metrics, and market conditions to evaluate financial models, forecasts, and investment strategies. Monitors and manages an organization's investment portfolio to ensure optimal performance and alignment with investment objectives, strategies, and risk tolerance levels. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
