| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Manages the structural design and development of enterprise-wide business intelligence tools, systems, and applications for an organization. Develops policies, standards, and frameworks for the form, structure, and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Collaborates with senior leaders to understand the organization's vision and ensure the business intelligence architecture supports and aligns with objectives. Manages project lifecycle from requirement gathering to delivery and implementation, ensuring alignment between architects, engineers, and developers. Researches and improves data collection, storage, and retrieval methods to ensure performance, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
