Requirements and Responsibilities
Oversees and leads the investor relations function of an organization, ensuring positive communications and strong relationships with investors. Collaborates with leadership to understand organizational goals, strategy, and direction and identify and develop new funding opportunities. Plans investor outreach initiatives to strengthen relationships, promote engagement, and facilitate capital raising. Develops and monitors goals for investor engagement, fundraising, and sponsorship. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
