Requirements and Responsibilities |
Administers the documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials in compliance with federal, state, local, or country-specific regulations. Prepares and reviews all required documentation, coding, and calculations of duties, tariffs, price conversions. Completes any required payment transactions that accompany shipments. Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
