CAE Design Technician II

Requirements and Responsibilities
Supports the computer-aided engineering (CAE) design engineering process for products, components, or structures. Assists with the creation of prototypes, layouts, and models to support the conceptual design process. Checks and verifies layouts and results of analysis for accuracy and adherence to standards. Collects, validates, and prepares data required for CAE processes. Typically requires an associate degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
