CAD Support Technician II

Requirements and Responsibilities
Provides computer-aided design (CAD) support. Creates preliminary drafting files from notes or sketches, assists engineers and designers with the completion of drawings, and executes basic CAD file modification. Communicates with engineers and designers to aid in the completion of projects. Helps transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software. Maintains deadlines, goals, and production standards set by the department. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
