Billing Clerk I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Performs various clerical activities in the billing department, including data entry, information verification and bill generation. Runs reports for management and conducts research to aid in the investigation of billing discrepancies and errors. May be responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding bills. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
