Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for activities and operations in the accounts receivable function for the organization. Processes invoices and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past due accounts, maintains cash receipts and refers accounts to collection agencies as necessary. Resolves all payment issues in a timely manner. Maintains and updates accurate financial records. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
