Accounts Receivable Clerk II

Requirements and Responsibilities
Records, verifies and posts payments received by the organization. Ensures transactions are recorded promptly and accurately in accordance with internal accounting policies. Reconciles payments with accounts receivable ledger and prepares reports of delinquent accounts. May be responsible for ad hoc customer billing and responding to customer inquiries regarding bills. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
