Accounts Payable Clerk II

Requirements and Responsibilities
Prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger. Responds to vendor inquiries and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments. May process requests for employee expense reimbursements. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
