Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Supervises activities in the accounts payable/receivable function. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintains accurate records and control reports. Negotiates with past due accounts, ensures outstanding account balance. Maintains cash receipts and refers accounts to collection agencies. Suggests improvements to accounts payable/receivable processes. Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or finance. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
