Requirements and Responsibilities

Supplier Inventory Analyst coordinates the flow of products manufactured by third parties to customers and enhance the optimization of supply chain operations. Monitors and analyzes key metrics including inventories, delivery time, lead times, and order cycles. Being a Supplier Inventory Analyst evaluates product forecasts, sales force forecasts, competitive information, and market conditions. Identifies trends, issues and opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Additionally, Supplier Inventory Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Supplier Inventory Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Supplier Inventory Analyst typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
