Requirements and Responsibilities

Organizational Development Supervisor oversees the implementation of organizational development policies and procedures. Leads a team of specialists in developing training programs, facilitating change management initiatives, and reviewing current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Supervisor ensures employee performance measurements gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Aids in assessing and implementing leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Additionally, Organizational Development Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
