Supply Chain Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Supervises the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Oversees team and coordination with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Responds to escalations of bottlenecks or problem areas and proposes solutions. Monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
