| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Manages project management operations and project teams to ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of organizational initiatives. Develops project management methodologies, governance processes, and resource planning strategies to support operational and strategic objectives. Oversees project schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk management activities across multiple concurrent projects. Coordinates with department leaders and stakeholders to establish project priorities, allocate resources, and resolve project-related issues. Evaluates project performance metrics and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and project outcomes. Leads project staff development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require Project Management Certification. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
