Network Planning Manager

Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages a team that plans, designs, evaluates, and optimizes network systems. Oversees network analysis initiatives to gather metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, and security and identify areas for improvement. Designs solutions to improve this performance. Communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to design network solutions that align with organizational systems and objectives. Ensures networks are capable of adapting to new organizational initiatives and potential use cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
