| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Develops, validates, and maintains material demand forecasts and models based on production schedules, bills of materials, and consumption patterns. Analyzes material demand requirements to support production planning, procurement, and inventory optimization. Monitors inventory levels, lead times, and usage trends to identify shortages or excess risks. Collaborates with production planning, procurement, and suppliers to align material availability with demand signals. Monitors forecast accuracy and material availability metrics to support continuous improvement. Prepares material demand reports and recommendations for planners and buyers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience. |
