Requirements and Responsibilities |
Ensures manufacturing projects, programs, and activities are managed effectively and align with the broader objectives of the business. Collects, analyzes, and monitors manufacturing and production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement improvements to processes, workflows, or methods. Facilitates communication and collaboration between various functions including design, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure actions and goals are aligned. Coordinates vendors and suppliers to support program activities and ensures cost, quality, and availability meet customer specifications and schedules. Acts as the primary customer contact for quotations, cost and contract questions, and program issues or changes in requirements. May provide technical support at customer facilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience. |
