Environmental Engineer I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing engineering solutions to environmental issues. Conducts environmental experiments to identify, assess, and resolve problems concerning the environment. Analyzes environmental data, reports, and trends and makes recommendations for corrective action. May also design, install, operate, and maintain measuring apparatus to determine the level of pollutants involving air, land, and water. Ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental legislation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
