Requirements and Responsibilities |
Advances the vision, strategy, and thinking methodologies used to innovate new products and services, introduce novel or disruptive ideas, improve existing processes, and create a culture of innovation within the company. Embraces an innovation strategy to define objectives and measures aligned with overall company goals that add value to stakeholders. Implements innovation projects and oversees resources and budgets. Works with partners or alliances on initiatives that support innovation. Collaborates with internal teams and provides training resources to promote a culture of innovation that encourages and supports experimentation and rewards new ideas and ways of thinking. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
