Top Budgeting Executive

Requirements and Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of an organization's budgeting and financial forecasting function. Directs the development and evaluation of policies and processes that will support the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization. Implements operational processes for the annual budget and capital planning. Establishes performance indicators used to evaluate and analyze actual performance against budgets. Leads the development of budget planning and forecasting tools to support management decisions. Presents budget data to senior management and/or board. Typically requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head.
