Requirements and Responsibilities
Seeks opportunities for business development within a defined area or sector. Leads expansion into new markets to support the overall growth strategy. Builds relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current investment. Reviews and analyzes the results of past campaigns to facilitate development of new initiatives and partnerships. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Director or a VP. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
