Billing Analyst I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Analyzes billing data, metrics, and processes to facilitate timely, accurate, and efficient billing operations. Prepares status reports to track billing activities and identify and measure overdue or unpaid accounts. Analyzes billing trends and recommends process improvements to optimize revenue collection, reduce errors, and improve payment times. Investigates and resolves billing discrepancies and errors. Provides billing data and analysis to support the development of financial statements or projections. Ensures invoices reflect negotiated payment terms and conditions and comply with financial policies, standards, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
