Being a Physician - Infectious Disease consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Additionally, Physician - Infectious Disease requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director.
