Requirements and Responsibilities

Investment Analyst is responsible for the evaluation of investment activities such as short-term debt securities, long-term equity, investment projects and objectives. Analyzes investment opportunities and recommends investments as appropriate. Being an Investment Analyst may help to evaluate stock investment and major projects for high-level analysis. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investment Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Investment Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. To be an Investment Analyst typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
