Requirements and Responsibilities

Intellectual Property Attorney II is responsible for preparing legal documents, reviewing company policies and litigating matters regarding intellectual property. May be responsible for preparing patent or trademark documents, licensing agreements, service agreements, transfer agreements and other contracts or agreements as necessary. Being an Intellectual Property Attorney II protects the organization's assets in the area of intellectual property. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Intellectual Property Attorney II requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager. The Intellectual Property Attorney II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
