Requirements and Responsibilities

Collections Representative II is responsible for initiating calls to delinquent customers by phone, mail or personal visit to collect payments and settle accounts. Follows-up delinquent accounts, updates and maintains accurate financial records including accounting, receivable, and credit records. Being a Collections Representative II requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Collections Representative II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Collections Representative II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
