Network Planning Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Supervises the planning, design, evaluation, and optimization of network systems. Leads network analysis initiatives to gather metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, and security and identify areas for improvement. Designs solutions to improve this performance. Communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to design network solutions that align with organizational systems and objectives. Oversees the development and maintenance of network documentation including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
