| Requirements and Responsibilities |
| Analyzes material sourcing activities to support cost-effective procurement strategies and ensure supply continuity. Collects and analyzes supplier, pricing, and market data to support sourcing strategies and purchasing decisions. Evaluates supplier performance, lead times, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and supplier consolidation. Supports sourcing initiatives by preparing cost models, spend analyses, and supplier performance reports. Collaborates with procurement, planning, and operations teams to align sourcing activities with production and inventory requirements. Maintains sourcing data, contracts, and documentation in procurement systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
