Automotive Mechanic III
Also referred to as: Automotive Mechanic III, Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic III, Senior Automotive Mechanic
Requirements and Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and repairs on automobiles and light trucks. Provides miscellaneous mechanic works, including but not limited to body work, diagnosing, disassembling and assembling components and engines. Performs all duties according to safety procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.
